Outside of Work
When I'm not deep in research, you can find me indulging in aerobic sports such as hiking, long-distance jogging and trail/ enduro cycling. I'm also an avid fan of competitive sports. Whether it's cheering for the San Antonio Spurs or rooting for Team Vitality in esports.
Beyond my endeavours in approaching languages via machines, I have a keen interest in learning natural languages and exploring their dialects in a traditional way. I am currently working on Japanese, Cantonese and Swabian/ Alemannic German, while I'm not yet at the authentic level, I am enjoying the journey and content with progressing at my own pace savouring each new word and phrase as I go.
